We Are The Union is an American ska punk band from Ann Arbor, Michigan, formed in 2005. Their debut album, Who We Are, was released in 2007, followed by Great Leaps Forward in 2010 and You Can't Hide the Sun in 2012. The band announced an indefinite hiatus in 2013 but returned in 2015 with new member Jer Hunter on trombone. Their fourth studio album, Self Care, was released in 2018, followed by Ordinary Life in 2021. The latter album explored themes surrounding lead vocalist Reade Wolcott's transition as a trans woman.
