Tripdavon, an American rock band from Santa Barbara, California, formed in early 2004 while members were students at UCSB, consisting of vocalist Justin Fox, guitarist Greg Doscher, guitarist Adam Coons, drummer Russ Cummings, and bassist Dave Heer. Tripdavon's first gig was performing at an apartment complex on Del Playa Drive for 400 Isla Vista partiers. In late 2004, they released their self-titled debut album Tripdavon, which garnered broad acclaim and reached number 12 on the UK Albums chart. The band's big break came in 2005 when they supported Eric Burdon on his My Secret Life world tour, playing to packed venues across Europe and performing with Burdon during encores. Tripdavonâs second full-length album, The Enlightened Operative, was released on November 14, 2006. The band were also notably featured on HBO's hit series Entourage in June 2007.
