Biography

This Moment In Black History, an American punk rock band from Cleveland, Ohio, formed in 2002. The group released their debut EP, The Cleveland Finger, in 2003, followed by their first full-length album, Midwesterncuttalistick, in 2004 on Version City Records. The band recorded their second album, It Takes A Nation Of Assholes, with Steve Albini in the fall of 2005, which was released the following year on Cold Sweat Records. In 2009, they released Public Square on Smog Veil Records and followed it up with Higher ≥ Deffer in 2012, also on Smog Veil and Snax Records. Notable singles include "Hung Up Grand Lover Session" (2003), "About Last Night / 7th Heaven (Leroy Version)" (2006), and "Raw Black Power" (2008).
