Biography

The Wolfhounds, an English noise pop band, were formed in Romford, Greater London, in 1985 by David Callahan, Paul Clark, Andy Golding, Andy Bolton, and Frank Stebbing. The band began as a garage rock outfit with post-punk influences, releasing their first EP Cut the Cake in 1986 on the Pink label. This led to their inclusion on the influential NME C86 compilation album, featuring "Feeling So Strange Again". After signing to Idea Records and September Records (later evolving into Midnight Music), The Wolfhounds released several albums including Bright and Guilty, Blown Away, and Attitude. Notable songs from these albums include "Son of Nothing", "Rent Act", and "Happy Shopper". The band disbanded in 1990 but reformed in 2005, continuing to release new music and perform live.
