Biography
The Trolleyvox, an American indie pop band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was formed in 1996 by Andrew Chalfen and Beth Filla. The group's early releases included Ephemera for the Future (2000) and Leap of Folly (2003), both on Groove Disques. In 2006, they released The Trolleyvox Present The Karaoke Meltdowns on Transit of Venus. In 2007, the band released a double album, Your Secret Safe / Luzerne. The song "Just You Wait" was widely circulated online as a protest song during the George W. Bush presidency after its YouTube video became popular. Bassist Owen Biddle was also part of The Roots until 2011.
