The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players were an American indie rock/art pop family band from Seattle, Washington. The group consisted of Jason Trachtenburg on guitar and piano, his wife Tina Piña running the slide projector and providing backup vocals, and their daughter Rachel playing drums and harmonica. The family's unique act combined music with a slideshow presentation featuring images collected from estate sales and thrift stores. Their debut album Vintage Slide Collections From Seattle, Volume 1 was released in 2001. In 2004, they followed up with Adventures in Middle America, Volume II. The band performed live on the Conan O'Brien show in January 2003. Their final album, Lost and Found, was released in March 2011. The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players became inactive in 2008 after Rachel formed her own band, Supercute!, and Jason started The Pendulum Swings.
