Biography

The Send was an American alternative rock project from Albany, Oregon, formed in 2006. Musician Joseph A. Kisselburgh, formerly a guitarist for Falling Up, founded the project and signed with Tooth & Nail Records. In 2006, Kisselburgh’s recording “The Fall” was included on the compilation album Charlotte’s Web: Music Inspired by the Motion Picture.In the summer of 2007, Kisselburgh performed at minor league ballparks alongside the group Hawk Nelson. Kisselburgh released the debut album Cosmos in July 2007, which reached number 47 on the Christian Albums chart. The recording “An Epiphany” reached number five on the Christian Hit Radio chart. That year, Kisselburgh also released the recording “Need”. Although Kisselburgh announced he was recording a second album titled Leaving in 2008, the project became inactive in 2010. The Send became inactive in 2010.
