Biography

The Chevelles, an Australian power pop band from Perth, Western Australia, formed in 1989. Their first single, "Be My Friend", was released in August 1990 under Zero Hour Records. The band's debut album, Gigantic, was delayed until June 1993 due to internal conflicts and label changes. Notable singles include "Girl for Me" (1992) and "Murder on Her Mind" (January 1992). The Chevelles toured extensively across multiple continents, contributing to their reputation in the alternative rock scene. Their discography includes Girl God (August 6, 2007).
