Their debut single "Lost" was released in March 1993, followed by the album Get on Board in July of the same year. The album peaked at Number 5 on the ARIA Albums Chart and won multiple awards at the ARIA Music Awards of 1994, including Best New Talent and Breakthrough Artist â Album for Get on Board, as well as Breakthrough Artist â Single for "Lost". Their highest-charting single was a cover version of The Band's "The Weight", featuring Jimmy Barnes, which reached Number 6 on the ARIA singles chart in December 1993. The band's second album, Holy Roadside, was released in October 1995 and reached the top 20. In 1997, after releasing the live album Everybody Everywhere, the band dissolved. They reformed occasionally for performances and releases, including a greatest hits album titled The Mushroom Tapes in November 2000 and several live shows between 2008 and 2014. The Badloves released their first single in over 20 years, "Soulbrothertruckin'song", in October 2019.
