Les Chics Types, a French rock band from Lyon, was formed in 2005 by Christian Biral and Cédric Vernet. Their debut album Une belle journée was released in 2008, featuring tracks like "Une belle journée" and "Le Joueur de jazz". In 2011, they released their second album, Hey! Ma B.O., an acoustic collection including a collaboration with Kent on the title track. The group's innovative approach continued with Alabama Blues in 2012, a book and accompanying soundtrack that integrated QR codes for interactive listening. They celebrated their tenth anniversary with Magnéto in 2017, featuring guest appearances from notable artists like Jack Bon and They Call Me Rico. In 2019, Les Chics Types released an homage album to Hubert Mounier of L'Affaire Louis' Trio titled Place Hubert Mounier, which included collaborations with Kent and Carmen Maria Vega. The group's sixth album, Comme si, was released in 2023.
