Tebot Piws, a Welsh band formed in 1968, originated from Cardiff and consisted of Alun Huws, Emyr Huws Jones, Stan Morgan Jones, and Dewi Morris. They gained early attention by winning a music contest at Flint and appearing on BBC Wales' Disg a Dawn. Tebot Piws initially performed skiffle-influenced acoustic songs with humorous Welsh lyrics. The band released four EPs between 1969 and 1972, including Tebot Piws (1970) and Byrmingham (1972). They disbanded in 1972 but reunited for a farewell concert at Penrhyndeudraeth's Memorial Hall in May 2011. Alun Huws passed away on December 15, 2014.
