Biography
Syrian, an Italian synthpop band, was formed in 2001 by Lorenzo Bettelli (Voyager) with Andrea Peluso (Andylab). The duo initially gained traction with their debut release No Atmosphere in 2003, followed by the album De-Synchronized. In 2004, they released the single "Space Overdrive" and the mini-CD Cosmic Gate, which further solidified their presence in the electronic music scene. The band's subsequent releases included the EP Enforcer (2005) and the albums Alien Nation (2007), Death of a Sun (2013), and Sirius Interstellar (2018). Syrian performed live in the US in 2005 and continued to perform in Europe while maintaining an active online presence. The band was signed to A Different Drum, one of the largest synthpop record labels globally during the early to mid-2000s.
