Biography

HÃ ng LÃ¢m Trang Anh, known professionally as Suboi, was born on January 14, 1990, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She is a Vietnamese rapper, singer, and songwriter who began her musical journey at the age of 15, influenced by American rappers such as Eminem. Suboi's breakthrough came when she accompanied fellow rapper Rapsoul to Music Facesâ recording studio, leading to an invitation to join the record label. Her debut album Walk was released in August 2010 and received positive reviews from both fans and critics. In 2014, after leaving Music Faces, Suboi started her own company, Suboi Entertainment, and released her second studio album Run (2014). She gained international recognition when she performed at South by Southwest (SXSW) in 2015 and 2016, becoming the first Vietnamese artist officially invited by the festival.
