Stella Lefty is an American singer-songwriter, born Stella Lefkofsky on August 6, 2003, in Winnetka, Illinois, and later based in Los Angeles. After studying public health at Tulane University, she began sharing original songs online and released early material under the Stella Lefty name, including the demo âfrom me to youâ in 2022 and singles such as âStayâ in 2023. Her official rollout accelerated in 2024 with âKiss Me,â followed in 2025 by âCynic,â âSee Through,â âDecay,â and âGrace,â all leading into her debut EP, Tragic, Really. The project placed her between singer-songwriter pop, folk-pop, and Americana-leaning country, with tracks including âMiseryâ and âseven eleven.â Stella Lefty also built early touring experience supporting artists such as Will Swinton, Alessi Rose, Porchlight, Jessie Murph, and Wyatt Flores. In 2026, she moved further into country-pop with âThinking âbout You,â âSlow Dancinâ,â and âThe Kill,â which appeared on the soundtrack for Scream 7. Her breakthrough single, âBoston,â interpolated Noah Kahanâs âStick Seasonâ and entered the Billboard Hot 100, Hot Country Songs, and several international charts. She followed with âI Know I Knowâ and the EP Is This Heaven?, which included âSomething To Lose,â a duet with Vincent Mason. Shortly after its release, the extended play reached number 38 on the Billboard 200.
