Biography

Society Burning is an American industrial/electro-industrial project founded in 1991 by Dave Mansfield (Daveoramma) in Las Cruces, New Mexico while he was at New Mexico State University. Early recordings were initially released under the name The Watchmen. A Watchmen track (âMerciful Releaseâ) appeared on the 1992 compilation The Cyberflesh Conspiracy, and the projectâs releases later included Entropy.Lingua (1996) and Tactiq (1997). A remixed/remastered set titled Entropy.Lingua.Reloaded was issued in 2009.
