Biography
Snowbird is a British/American band consisting of instrumentalist Simon Raymonde and vocalist Stephanie Dosen. Dosen, originally a member of the techno band Virus, sang live with Massive Attack in 2008 and collaborated with The Chemical Brothers. Their debut concert took place at Union Chapel, Islington, in June 2009. Their first notable release was a cover of Pink Floyd's "Goodbye Blue Sky" on the compilation The Wall Re-Built! (2009). Snowbird also released a version of "The North Wind Doth Blow" on the compilation Sing Me to Sleep, Indie Lullabies (2010). Snowbird released their debut album, Moon (2014), featuring guest musicians such as Ed O'Brien and Philip Selway. The album was accompanied by a second disc titled Luna, consisting of remixes by RxGibbs.
