Sidney Gish, born March 18, 1997 in New Jersey, is an American singer-songwriter. She began composing songs in middle and high school and started her music career by uploading tracks to Bandcamp in 2015 with Donât Call on Me and Merry Crisis EP. Gish's first full album, Ed Buys Houses, was self-released in December 2016. Her second album, No Dogs Allowed, released at the end of 2017, gained significant internet success and won Album of the Year at the 2018 Boston Music Awards. In 2018, Gish performed with Camp Cope and Petal on a national tour and opened for Mitski in New England. She released a split single with Cavetown in 2019 and supported tours by The Beths and Jeff Rosenstock in 2023.
