Marc Shemer, better known as Scram Jones, and born on November 5, 1977, in New Rochelle, New York, is a DJ and rapper who began his career by teaching himself to scratch, mix, and blend. In 2003, he won second place in the East Coast Finals of Guitar Center's DJ Battles. Scram Jones released his first record "Liquid Heat" in 1999, which gained underground buzz. He then went on to produce music for various artists including Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, and Styles P. His production work notably included Mariah Carey's "Your Girl", for which he was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2005. Scram Jones has also released several albums, including Loose Cannons (2004) and The Hat Trick (2012). He hosted his own weekly radio show called The Chop Shop on WICB radio station for four years and has performed in various clubs around the world.
