Saif Musaad, known professionally as Safe, was born on January 30, 1997, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and immigrated to Toronto at two months old. He began writing lyrics and recording music at age ten. In 2015, he released his first single "Feel" on SoundCloud, which garnered over 4 million plays, and his debut EP Stay Down. Safe released his debut studio album STAY under RCA Records in 2019, featuring collaborations with QUIN and Playboi Carti. In 2021, he was featured on Judas and the Black Messiah: The Inspired Album with his song "Contagious," performed with Kiana Ledé. His second studio album, Get Home SAFE (part 1), was released in February 2022 through RCA Records.
