Patrik Vrbovský is a Slovak rapper and television personality born on January 3, 1977, in KromÄÅÞ. Professionally known as Rytmus, he began his career in 1992 and initially performed under the name Pa3k Metamorfolord. In 1997, he won the freestyle competition Bitka slov and participated in the project Zvuk ulice. He co-founded the ensemble Kontrafakt in 2001 and released the debut studio recording E.R.A. in 2004. Vrbovský released his debut solo album, Bengoro, in 2006 through his label Tvoj Tatko Records. His discography included the Kontrafakt recording Bozk na rozlúÄku (2007), which sold more than 20,000 copies, and the solo album Fenomen (2011). He also released the compilation album Jediný Äo hrešà in 2012 and the track âTechnotronic Flowâ with DJ Mad Skill. He collaborated with artists including DJ Premier, Tina, and Ego. Vrbovský served as a judge on the programs SuperStar and Hlas Äesko Slovenska.
