Biography
The German-British musician, entertainer and musical performer Ross Antony was born Ross Anthony Catterall in Bridgnorth on July 9, 1974. He initially worked as an opera and musical singer before becoming a member of the band Bro'Sis ("U Build Me Up") between 2001 and 2006. In 2013, he began a solo career as a pop singer and released his debut album Meine Neue Liebe in June 2013, which mainly contains cover versions of German pop songs. With Goldene Pferde, he entered the German album charts at number 65 in 2014. His third pop album Tatort Liebe reached number 37 in the German and number 68 in the Austrian album charts in 2016. In September 2017, Ross Antony released his fourth album Aber Bitte mit Schlager. Schlager Lügen Nicht (2019, number 8 in Germany) is followed in 2020 by the Christmas album Lass es Glitzern: Weihnachten mit Ross (number 32). In 2023, Ross Antony released the album 100% Ross. It reached number 8 in the German charts and landed at number 64 in Austria. 100 Jahre Gute Laune, another studio album, followed on July 4, 2025. The album climbs to No. 2 in Germany and also reaches chart positions in Austria (No. 22) and Switzerland (No. 75).
