Biography
Romanz was a South African pop and opera vocal quartet formed in 2008. The group consisted of Burgerd Botha, Christopher Lee Viljoen, André Venter, and Adam Barnard. They released their debut album My Hele Hart in 2009, followed by Bly Getrou later that year. In 2011, Romanz participated in the Swiss preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with "For You". The group continued to release albums, including Ek Sal Getuig (2010), 'N Duisend Drome (2011), and Hou Vas (2012). They also released live albums and DVDs, such as Treffers Live and Ek Sal Getuig 'Live'. Romanz disbanded in 2014. Adam Barnard passed away in 2022.
