Take a Daytrip is an American record production and songwriting duo formed by Denzel Baptiste (born Januaryâ¯9â¯1993 in Newâ¯York) and David Biral (born Februaryâ¯22â¯1993 in Newâ¯York). The pair met at Newâ¯Yorkâ¯University and began producing in 2014, gaining early attention with the 2017 single "Mo Bamba" by Sheckâ¯Wes, which reached Number six on the Billboard Hotâ¯100. Their breakthrough continued with "Panini" by Lilâ¯Nasâ¯X (2019) and "Montero (Callâ¯Meâ¯byâ¯Yourâ¯Name)" (2021), both topping the Hotâ¯100.
