Puracane was an electronic music band from New York formed in 1999 as a duo consisting of Ali Rogers and programmer/producer David Biegel. Their debut album, Things You Should Leave Alone, released on March 21, 2000, via Ubiquity Records, featured former Psychedelic Furs guitarist Knox Chandler. The album received critical acclaim, reaching number 78 on the CMJ Top 200 chart. The band toured with notable acts such as Sting, Jane's Addiction, and Depeche Mode following the albumâs release. Their second album, In Limbo: The Lost Puracane Sessions, was released in 2006. In 2009, after lineup changes, Puracane released their third album, I've Been Here the Longest. In May 2011, they released the EP Evil for the Greater Good.
