Amerigo Provenzano, known professionally as Provenzano DJ, was born on October 12, 1970, in Rome, Italy. He is an Italian disc jockey and record producer who began his career working at the radio station m2o, where he hosted programs such as Out of Mind. Provenzano DJ's breakthrough came with his single, "Funny Day" in 2004. He continued to release notable tracks, including "Sound is Back" (2005), "Let Me Be" (2005), and "Running Up" (2005). He mixed all the m2o Compilations, which earned him four gold discs. Provenzano DJ also produced several successful remixes for artists like Axwell, Laurent Wolf, and Tiziano Ferro. In September 2016, he returned to m2o as host of the program Music Zone, alongside Manuela Doriani and Leandro Da Silva, in which he expanded his musical scope to include genres such as hip hop and reggaeton, reflecting changes in the musical programming.
