Biography
Prometheus Burning, an Electro-Industrial music duo from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was formed in early 2001 by Greg VanEck. The group initially started as an experimental electronic project with VanEck releasing the demo Cathode in 2003. Nikki Telladictorian joined later and contributed vocals to their debut album Influenza, released in 2004. In 2006, Prometheus Burning signed to Hive Records and released Beyond Repair, which received positive reviews. The following year saw the release of a remix album titled Nboyde Rarepi. The duo continued with notable releases such as Plague Called Humanity in 2009 and Displacement Disorder in 2010, the latter funded through a Kickstarter campaign. Their final studio album, Kill It With Fire, was released in 2012 under Wax Trax II Records. Prometheus Burning also supported various charitable causes, including a lung cancer awareness compilation titled Pneuma in 2012.
