Biography

Pop Unknown was an American rock band from Austin, Texas formed in 1997. The group released their debut EP Summer Season Kills in 1999, followed by their first full-length album If Arsenic Fails, Try Algebra, later that year on Deep Elm Records. Between 1997 and 2002, Pop Unknown toured extensively across the United States and Europe. In 2002, they released their second album, The August Division. The band split when four of its members formed a side project called Kissing Chaos in 2003.
