Tiny Moving Parts, an American emo band from Benson, Minnesota, formed in 2008 with brothers William Chevalier (drums) and Matthew Chevalier (bass, vocals) and their cousin Dylan Mattheisen (guitar, vocals). Their early demos include Waves Rise, Waves Recede, the Ocean Is Full of Waves and Moving to Antarctica. The debut studio album This Couch Is Long & Full of Friendship appeared on Kind of Like Records in 2013, followed by Pleasant Living (2014) through Triple Crown Records and Celebrate (2016). Subsequent releases included Swell (2018), Breathe (2019), a selfâtitled album (2022), and Deep in the Blue (2024). Tiny Moving Parts describe themselves as a family band and have toured with acts like The Front Bottoms, Frameworks, Hostage Calm, and State Champs.
