Biography

PAX217 is an American Christian rock band from Orange County, California. The original lineup included Dave Tosti on vocals, Ethan Luck on guitar, Josh Auer on bass, and Aaron Tosti on drums, with the band later undergoing multiple lineup changes over its career. The name comes from “Pax,” the Latin word for peace, and Ephesians 2:17. The band recorded a demo tape and later signed with Forefront Records. Their debut album Twoseventeen was released in 2000, featuring tracks such as “No Place Like Home” and “A.M.” (which appeared on the Extreme Days soundtrack), followed by their second studio album Engage in 2002. In 2004, they released the independent EP Check Your Pulse before disbanding in 2005. The band reunited in 2010 and has since performed several reunion shows.
