Biography

Thousand Foot Krutch is a Canadian alternative metal band from Peterborough, Ontario, founded in 1995 by Trevor McNevan, Joel Bruyere and Steve Augustine. Their first album That's What People Do was released in 1997, and the band's 2001 album Set it Off reached number 40 on the Billboard chart for the first time. While the band's sound later became more rocking and independent, this album is still characterized by Limp Bizkit-like new metal with a massive hip hop and rap component. in 2003, Thousand Foot Krutch signed a record deal and released their albums The Art of Breaking (2005) and The Flame in All of Us (2007), which both landed in the official US charts this time and reached number 2 in the Christ charts. in 2012, The End Is Where We Begin even reached the top of the Christ charts and number 14 on the Billboard 200. One year after Exhale (2016), the band also released their live album Untraveled Roads.
