Biography

Lín Wěijùn, known as Patrick Brasca, born Weijun Pai on 6 September 1999 in Tamshui, Taipei County, Taiwan, is a Taiwanese‑Canadian pop singer. He began playing African drums at age three and learned acoustic guitar at nine, setting a goal to become a singer by eleven. His breakthrough came in 2015 when he released the single "Can't Lose You Now" and the EP My Time, which included the tracks "My Time" and "I Like You". In 2016, Brasca collaborated with Jay Chou on the bilingual theme song "Try" for the film Kung Fu Panda 3, contributing the English lyrics and achieving international exposure. He signed with JVR Music in 2016, following the early support of Jay Chou, and released the single "Cold" (feat. Goater) in 2021. His discography expanded with the EP Hol!day (2023‑09‑28) and the 3am – Demo Ver. (2023‑10‑27), featuring tracks such as "Don't Waste My Love" (feat. SHOU) and "I Hate Myself Sometimes" (Acoustic). In 2025, he released "Six Degrees" with Jay Chou, marking a continued partnership. Brasca’s work has appeared on film soundtracks and television series, and his songs have maintained a presence on Mandarin‑language charts, solidifying his role in contemporary pop music.
