Biography
Pashanim, a rapper of Turkish descent (born November 30, 2000, in Berlin), was born Can David Bayram. He grew up in Berlin-Kreuzberg. He began rapping at the age of 12. Together with the musicians Abuglitsch, Symba, and RB 030, Pashanim founded the artist collective Playboysmafia. The rapper released his first works in 2018 via social media. Subsequently, Pashanim appeared on tracks by musicians such as BHZ, 102 Boyz, Monk, and Chapo102. The Berlin native made it into the charts in 2020 with his two singles âShababs bottenâ and âHauseingang.â âShababs bottenâ is frequently played in the background of many videos on social media. The follow-up single âAirwavesâ debuted at No. 2 on the German charts in May of the same year and achieved platinum status. The EP junge ceos 2 was released in late 2020. In the summer of 2021, Pashanim reached No. 1 on the German charts for the first time with the single âSommergewitterâ. Later that same year, the single âAllein Alleinâ followed, featuring Ufo361âa cover of the 2008 hit by Polarkreis 18. With the non-album tracks âKleiner Prinzâ (2022), âBagchaser Canâ (2023), and âMs. Jacksonâ (2023), the rapper scored further Top 10 hits in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. At the end of 2023, the EP Tage vor 2000 was released. In mid-May 2024, Pashanim scored two No. 1 hits: one with the single âMittelmeerâ and the other in collaboration with Ceren on the song âShabab(e)s im VIPâ, another No. 1 hit in Germany. The song reached No. 2 in Austria and climbed to No. 4 in Switzerland. The single also serves as a teaser for the album 2000, released shortly thereafter. The album reaches the top of the charts in Germany and Switzerland and peaks at No. 3 in Austria. In 2024, they begin collaborating with RB030 and Selim61 on the EP ADS Sampler Vol. 1. In 2025, the EPs Grünewürfelflow and Junge CEOs 1 are released. Both extended-play singles reach the Top 10 in German-speaking countries. In July 2026, the rapper releases the album Lounge Musik.
