Biography
The German rapper OG Keemo was born in Mainz in 1993 as Karim Joel Martin. The artist first appeared in the mid-2010s. Together with his hip-hop friends Funkvater Frank, Biño, Inu and Mo, he founded the Zonkeymobb gang. The group initially released its first songs via social media. In 2017, the record label Chimperator Productions became aware of the music. OG Keemo then receives a record deal and releases his EP Neptun in October 2017. The mixtape Skalp is released in fall 2018. In November 2019, OG Keemo released his debut album Geist. The album reaches number 14 in the German album charts. After a short break, the second album Mann beiÃt Hund follows in January 2022. The rapper made it to number 2 in the German charts and also reached number 13 in Austria and number 12 in Switzerland. OG Keemo opens the year 2024 with the mixtape Fieber.
