Biography
AK Ausserkontrolle is the name used by the German-born rapper of Turkish heritage Davut Altundal, who also has performed with the name DramaKing and wears a bandana over his face to hide his identity. He leads a group also called AK Ausserkontrolle. Their 2016 release Panzaknacka went to Ten on the German Albums Chart. A.S.S.N. (2017) reached Number 3 and XY (2018) peaked at Number 5. He featured on Capital Bra and Samra's âFight Clubâ single, which hit Number 3 in Germany in 2018. That same year, he dropped the EP Panzertape. Preceded by the gold-selling single âIn meinem Benz,â the full-length A.S.S.N. 2 arrived in 2020 and quickly achieved pole position in both his native country and Austria. The album also featured contributions by the creme de la creme of German rap, including Gringo, Farid Bang, and Shindy, as well as frequent collaborators Fux Ausserkontrolle, Kontra K, Bonez MC, and 18 Karat. AK Ausserkontrolle returned in 2021 with the standalone single âUnter dem Radar,â which peaked at Number 18 on the German Singles Chart.
