Biography
The German rapper with Italian roots, Musso, was born in 1998 and lives in Mannheim. Born Leonardo Sprengler, he took part in Celo & Abdi's "From the streets to the charts" format in 2017. In the online competition, up-and-coming rappers can upload their music videos to the social media channel of the music label 385idéal. As a result, his song "Später" quickly breaks through the million views barrier and enjoys great popularity on social media. Musso signs a contract with the music label Press Play and releases singles at regular intervals. In 2018, he releases his first mixtape Classic, on which Morten and Rojas rap as feature guests. After a two-year break from music, Musso releases his single "Plastik" and then announces his first album, Classic Sports. This is released in July 2020 after further singles and reaches the German album charts in the same month. The album Don't Panic! , released in 2021, also made it into the charts and stayed at number 34 for a week. Further albums followed with Super1 (2022), Step 5 (2023) and Game 6 (2023). In 2022, the rapper and producer duo Miksu/Macloud reached number 46 in the German charts with the single "Seele". In June 2024, Musso returns with his next album Project 24. The album reaches number 69 in Germany. At the end of October 2025, Musso released another studio album, Still Don't Panic. The rapper reached number 53 in the German album charts.
