Biography
Jerome Sydenham, born in 1967 in Ibadan, is an electronic music producer, DJ, and multi-record label owner. He first appeared on the scene with the single "Electric Pussycat" in 2006 and the 2009 Judgement EP, both of which helped cement his reputation in underground circles. Jerome Sydenhamâs early releases include the albums Space Lab Yellow â Live (Vol.â¯1) (2002), Ibadan People (2003), followed by the experimental Explosive HiâFidelity Sounds (2005). He released the album Animal Social Club in 2012, Disciple Trail (2013), and singles such as "Sun Ark" (2013) and "Natural Spray" (2011). Jerome Sydenhamâs album CODA was released in 2022. Jerome Sydenham and his label, Ibadan Records, which he managed with Christine Pedersen, were associated with several labels, including Apotek Records, Avocado Records, Public Service Records, and UK Promotions.
