Biography
Nyktophobia is a metal band founded in 2015. Their songs are in the old school melodic death metal genre. In their songs, the band deals with fantasy themes. The founding members include singer Tomasz Wisniewski and guitarist Michael Tybussek. They were later joined by bassist Ben Bays, guitarist Phillip Reuter and drummer Michiel van der Plicht. In 2017, they released their debut album Fallen Empire. Two more albums followed with Fate of Atlantis (2018) and What Lasts Forever (2020). Nyktophophia made their breakthrough four years later with the album To the Stars. The album climbed to number 28 in Germany. The band went on to play festivals such as the Rockharz Open Air 2024.
