Nevea Tears was an American metal and post-hardcore band, formed in Southern California. The group consisted of Greg Gillis and Brent Doan on guitars, Jeff Metajan on keyboards/electronics, Amber Barnard on drums, Dom Gomez on bass, and John Morello on vocals. Nevea Tears recorded a demo and sent it to various labels, leading to their signing with Eulogy Recordings in 2003. Their debut album, Do I Have to Tell You Why I Love You, was released the following year. The band toured extensively with prominent bands of the hardcore scene for the next three years. In 2007, Nevea Tears released their second album, Run With the Hunted. Shortly after its release, several members left the band, including Morello, Gomez, and Stephen Crosmer, who had replaced Amber Barnard on drums. Due to a lack of loyal members, Nevea Tears eventually stopped playing and has been on hiatus since 2007.
