Evan Sewell Wallace (1982â2017), known professionally as E-Dubble, was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Philadelphia. Wallace founded Black Paisley Records and performed with the ensembles Irishtoothache and Young English. His career included the 2006 release of the mixtape Straight Outta St. Mary's. Wallace released his debut studio album, Hip-Hop Is Good, in October 2009. He produced the âFreestyle Fridayâ series from February 2010 to February 2011, releasing weekly tracks and concluding the project with the 2012 song âLast Man Standingâ. His discography also featured the Reset EP (2012), the mixtape Written Thursday (2011), and the collaborative EP Surrounded By Giants (2014) with the band 27 Lights. Wallace released the final studio album Two Tone Rebel in 2016. He died in Philadelphia on February 13, 2017.
