Moroccan Spirit is a musical project formed by German musicians Ralf Hamm, Markus Staab and Claus "The Brave" Zundel. The trio, known for their work on other projects such as Sacred Spirit and B-Tribe, combined traditional Moroccan music with moderate club beats and synthesizer enhancement to create a unique down tempo new age/ethnic fusion sound. Their debut album Moroccan Spirit was released in 2002. The album featured authentic Moroccan singers and instruments, with tracks like "Midunya" showcasing a reworked version of Medunya from the One Little Creature album, now infused with an Arabic feel. Some tracks incorporated fragments of Persian traditional music, including vocals by Master Mohammad Reza Shajarian and instrumental pieces by Master Faramarz Payvar.
