Biography

Morly Grey was an American psychedelic rock band formed in 1969 consisting of Paul Cassidy on drums, Randy Byron on guitar, Tim Roller on guitar, and Mark Roller on bass. Their early recordings included the singles "Yas" and "Sleepy Softness", released in 1969. After Randy Byron's departure, Morly Grey became a trio and recorded their debut album, The Only Truth, which was released in 1972 through the unpublished Starshine label. The band performed as the opening act for notable artists such as Bob Seger and The Platters. In 2009, Sundazed Music remastered and reissued The Only Truth.
