Biography
Monty Are I is an American rock band from Cranston, Rhode Island. The band, named after their former music instructor Arthur Montanaro, consists of members including lead singer Stevie Aiello and drummer Justin Muir. Their early releases include the EP Thanks for the Metal Sign (2000) and Monty's Fan Club EP (2002). The band won Takeover Records' "Sign My Band" contest on MySpace in 2005 and gained recognition through extensive tours, including five years on the Vans Warped Tour. They released their debut album Wall of People in 2006 on Stolen Transmission/Island Records.
