MONEY, an English alternative rock band, was formed in Manchester in 2011 by Jamie Lee, Charlie Cocksedge, Billy Byron and Nick Delap. The group initially gained traction playing shows at venues such as Salford's Sacred Trinity Church and the Bunker. Their debut single "Whoâs Going to Love You Now"/"Goodnight London" was released in 2012 by Sways Records. Following this, they signed with Bella Union and released their self-produced debut album The Shadow of Heaven in 2013. The album included the single "Hold Me Forever", which featured a video directed by Cillian Murphy. MONEY toured extensively throughout 2013 and 2014, including performances at major UK and European festivals and support slots for Wild Beasts. Their second album Suicide Songs was released in 2016, receiving positive reviews with a Metacritic score of 78.
