Biography

Mojack, an instrumental rock band from Los Angeles, United States, was formed in 1995 by Greg Ginn, formerly of Black Flag, and featured Tony Atherton on saxophone and clarinet, Steve Sharp on bass guitar, Andy Batwinas on percussion, and Richie West on drums. Mojack's music blended jazz and rock elements, with a sound similar to Ginn's other instrumental project, Gone. Their debut album Merchandising Murder was released in 1995, followed by Home Brew in 1997. Subsequent releases include Under the Willow Tree (2007), The Metal Years (2008), Hijinks (2011) and Car (2013).
