Antimatter, a UK gothic rock band, was formed in 1998 as a duo project of Mick Moss and Duncan Patterson. The duo initially released three albums together: Saviour (2001), Lights Out (2003), and Planetary Confinement (2005). In 2007, after Patterson's departure, Moss continued Antimatter as a solo project and released Leaving Eden. Subsequent albums include a compilation album, Alternative Matter (2010), and Timeline - An Introduction To Antimatter (2015). They also released the album, The Judas Table, in 2015. Antimatter's sound evolved from early trip-hop influences to a blend of art rock, prog, metal, folk, shoegazer, and grunge. The band received "Album of the Year" and "Best Newcomer of the Year" awards in 2001 from Psycho! magazine for Saviour.
