Biography

Maurette Brown Clark, born Maurette Brown on May 5, 1966, in New York, Long Island, is an American singer. She began singing at age four and started formal lessons two years later. Her solo music career commenced in 1998 with the release of How I Feel on Verity Records, which peaked at Number 8 on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. Clark's subsequent albums were released by Atlanta International Records: By His Grace (2002), reaching Number 12; The Dream (2007), peaking at Number 34; and The Sound of Victory (2011), which reached Number 6 on the same chart. Clark has also been a member of Richard Smallwood's group, Vision, since 1996. Issued in 2023, the single "I See Good" was ranked number 14 in Top Gospel Songs chart the next year.
