Biography

Marina Heredia Ríos is a Spanish flamenco singer born on April 10, 1980, in Granada. She is the daughter of the singer Jaime Heredia and the granddaughter of Rosa Heredia. She performed her debut concert at age 12 in 1992 at the Palacio de Congresos de Granada. In 1999, Heredia performed in the premiere of the opera De Amore by Mauricio Sotelo at the Bienal de Múnich. Her debut studio recording, Me Duele, Me Duele, appeared in 2001 and was produced by Pepe de Lucía. Throughout her career, she performed at events including the Festival Internacional de Música y Danza de Granada and the Festival de Jerez. She collaborated with artists such as Ketama, Miguel Ríos, Paco de Lucía, and Enrique Morente. Her discography included the recordings La Voz del Agua (2007), Marina (2010), and A Mi Tempo (2013). In 2004, she received the Premio Andalucía Joven de las Artes.
