Major Figgas was an American hip hop group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The group formed in 1999 on Erie Avenue in North Philadelphia and initially consisted of local friends, including Gillie da Kid, Wallo267, and Ab-Liva. They gained early attention through underground mixtapes and local performances before signing with RuffNation Records, a joint venture with Warner Bros. Records. Their debut album Figgas 4 Life was released in June 2000 and included the single "Yeah That's Us," which peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot Rap Singles chart. The album reached number 115 on the Billboard 200 and number 29 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Internal conflicts and legal troubles, including the incarceration of member Spade-O, led to the group's disbandment in the early 2000s. Following their breakup, several members pursued solo careers, with Gillie da Kid co-founding the popular podcast Million Dollaz Worth of Game in 2019.
