Biography

Maeve O'Boyle, born on October 6, 1987 in Glasgow, Scotland, is a Scottish singer-songwriter. She started her career at age 16 as a lyricist for various pop acts and secured her own record contract with Linn Records at age 21. O'Boyle notably founded the M.I.M.A project (Music Industry Made Accessible) in January 2008, a program supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Her debut album All My Sins was released in 2009 and she performed at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow on September 16, 2010, for Pope Benedict XVI's open-air mass. In 2013, she released her second album, Being Patient, and her song "Brothers in Arms" led to an invitation to perform at the White House on December 12, 2012.
