Made In London was a British pop music group formed in 1999, consisting of British vocalist Kelly Bryant, Norwegian singer Marianne Eide, and Norwegian-born Melissa Popo, who left before any releases. The trio entered the UK market with the single "Shut Your Mouth" in early 2000, which peaked at Number 74 on the UK Singles Chart. Their second single, "Dirty Water", achieved greater success, reaching Number 15 in May 2000 and becoming the group's highest-charting hit. The group signed with a UK label and prepared to release their debut studio album A Perfect Storm later that year; however, the album was cancelled following the modest performance of "Shut Your Mouth" and was only made available on streaming services in March 2022. After the release of the cover "Wishing Well", a version of Terence Trent DâArbyâs 1987 song, the group disbanded in 2000. Postâdisbandment, former member Sherene Dyer continued her career under the name Sherii Ven Dyer and remains active in performance as of 2023. The group's brief career left a modest imprint on the UK pop scene, highlighted by the chart success of "Dirty Water" and the subsequent cover by Australian girl group Bardot.
